Innovation for a changing world: The role of US leadership in global health R&D

The fifth annual policy report from the GHTC provides recommendations that Congress and the administration can use to leverage the United States' important role in global health R&D. The recommendations call on Congress to pass a long-term budget plan that will sustain R&D efforts throughout the agencies involved in global health research, as well as ask Congress to approve the 21st Century Global Health Technology Act and seeks a stronger role for the FDA in delivering new products for neglected diseases.
