OPT-SMC: optimizing access to medicines to protect children from malaria

As the malaria season arrives in the Sahel sub-region of Africa, we need to ensure that tools like seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) reach all eligible children. The OPT-SMC project aims to contribute to strengthening the capacity of national malaria control programmes to conduct implementation research, to adapt seasonal malaria chemoprevention to the local context, and to improve its delivery and impact.
