New EU-funded project to coordinate antimalarial drug research

A timely initiative, the CRIMALDDI project (Coordination, Rationalisation and Integration of Antimalarial Drug Discovery and Development Initiatives) is being led by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and brings together key European players in the antimalarial drug discovery fields including MMV, WHO.

Globally coordinated efforts will ensure that researchers know exactly what is going on in the field of antimalarial drug R&D. The project will receive €500,000 from the European Commission over two years.
