Dr Dennis Schmatz, Chairman of the MMV Expert Scientific Committee and member of the MMV Board has joined MMV as the interim President and CEO. Dennis has been working with MMV since its inception as a member of the ESAC committee. He has over 30 years of experience in managing pharmaceutical research with a particular emphasis on infectious diseases and has been involved with malaria research for most of his career. Most recently he was Research Site Head for Merck Research Labs in Japan.
