MMV in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery

Dr Tim Wells, MMV’s Chief Scientific Officer and two of MMV’s Board Members, Dr Pedro Alonso [1] and Prof Win Gutteridge [2], distinguished contributors to fighting malaria in their own right, have co-authored a new article “New medicines to improve control and contribute to the eradication of malaria” which appears this month in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery. This comprehensive article addresses the question of what is at the cutting edge today in the antimalarial world, and what drugs are coming out of the pipeline to help fight the emergence and spread of resistance to current antimalarials and to answer the recent call for elimination and eradication of malaria.

Nature Reviews Drug Discovery has graciously allowed us to make the PDF of this important article available to the wider public.
