The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health and the Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) held a Consensus meeting entitled “Phase III Clinical Trials for Antimalarial Drugs: Study Design Issues”.

This meeting was planned in conjunction with the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) conference and took place on 8 December 2005 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, North Bethesda, MD, USA

This meeting was very well attended with representatives from several Regulatory Agencies, Government and International Organizations, Academia and the Pharmaceutical Industry.
