The International Conference on vivax Research ICPvR 2022

5th - 8th April 2022

There is an exciting and packed program ranging from sessions on the global burden and epidemiology of vivax malaria, to recent advances in the understanding of vivax pathology and pathogenesis, new understandings of vivax biology, vaccine development, progresses in improving treatment options as well as transmission studies, new advances in diagnostics and genomic epidemiology.

Acknowledging that this meeting and the vivax community has grown considerably since the first ICPvR, the conference has intentionally expanded the scope of the program for 2022 to include themes around implementation, access and policy, without neglecting the biological discovery focused fields.

This is the first time this conference is a virtual event. It is hoped that this allows for a broader participation of researchers from endemic countries as well as students and early career researchers, for whom the high cost of the conference and travel might have been prohibitive in previous years!

The conference will be spread across four days and live sessions will be at different times, to ensure more equitable access for a global audience and to maximise participation. Please note that all sessions will be recorded and accessible for conference participants after the conference conclusion.
