H20 Summit

September 1-2, 2022
Geneva, Switzerland

2 days | 70+ Speakers | 10 Panels | A CALL TO ACTION to G20 Leaders, Health and Finance Ministers

G20 policymakers, international organisations, the global health community, the private sector, economists, civil Society, and academia will join discussions and make concrete recommendations to the G20 ahead of the remaining ministerial meetings for 2022.

During a period of growing uncertainty globally, now is the time for multilateral organisations such as the G20 to come together to tackle common challenges such as global health security and global health financing.

The Summit will be opened by Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the WHO.

Day one of the Summit will focus specifically on sustainable financing for health and in particular the new Financial Intermediary Fund (FIF) for Pandemic Preparedness and Response (PPR). Speakers on day one will be made up of leading figures from the finance community, politicians, and global health experts.

Day two of the Summit will focus on other pressing global health issues, looking at health in the digital age, antimicrobial resistance, and the growing burden of non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease.
