The annual leadership development course, led by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health, Harvard University, and Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, is now freely available via the HarvardX online learning platform.

What should learners expect?
MalariaX explores cutting-edge science and technology, and examines policies needed to control and eliminate malaria. The course modules provide learners with the knowledge and skills to contribute to global malaria control and eradication. Faculty instructors guide learners to analyze real-world data, demonstrating effective applications with a focus on the development and implementation of evidence-based intervention strategies for national and local malaria eradication efforts.

Any individual seeking to develop new technical knowledge and expertise in global health, including those already working in malaria.
What will learners gain?
In addition to gaining foundational knowledge, learners will build their global health credentials. Those who complete the course have the option to pursue a Verified Certificate ($49 USD) signed by faculty from Harvard University, ISGlobal, and Swiss TPH. Learners can increase job prospects by sharing the Verified Certificate on their CV, LinkedIn, etc.
