What I do at MMV:
As Project Coordinator I provide scientific, logistical and administrative support within the Drug Discovery team.
Why I work at MMV:
The medicines MMV has supported have saved over 1.9 million lives and contributing, with my colleagues, to increasing this number even further is what drives me the most. It’s great to be part of a non-profit organization and collaborate with so many diverse and passionate people, all sharing a common goal to decrease the burden of malaria.
More about me:
I have a Master of Molecular and Biological Chemistry from the Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne as well as a Master of Infection Biology from the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in Basel. Before joining MMV, I worked at the Swiss TPH doing research on neglected tropical diseases, with a main focus on dengue, Zika and chikungunya viruses.
Ask me about:
Outside of science I dedicate a lot of time to gymnastics. As a coach and a judge, I organize several competitions at regional and national levels. I like all sports in general, but also travelling, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
