Roisin Flatman

Junior Contracts Specialist

What I do at MMV:

I draft, negotiate and review various types of agreements between MMV and its pharmaceutical and academic partners, service providers and donors worldwide. I work with colleagues in R&D and Access teams to provide legal support for their projects.

Why I work at MMV:

MMV plays such an important role to alleviate suffering caused by malaria, and it is a privilege to help to contribute to its mission. I think it is important to find purpose in your work, and working at MMV really gives me the motivation that gets me up in the morning.

More about me:

I completed my legal traineeship at multinational law firm Pinsent Masons in Edinburgh and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in Scotland in 2021. I then relocated to Geneva and worked as a Procurement Intern at the World Meteorological Organization before starting at MMV. I hold a Bachelor of Laws (Scots and English), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (both from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow), and was admitted to the roll of Scottish solicitors in September 2021.

Ask me about:

Anything to do with contractual and other legal matters. On a personal level you can ask me about hiking, skiing, books and good food.
