What I do at MMV:
At MMV, I negotiate and draft various types of agreements with research and academic institutes, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, NGOs, international organisations, governments, consultants and contract research organisations. I also provide other legal support to the Senior Legal Counsel to facilitate collaboration between MMV and its partners.
Why I work at MMV:
It is a very rewarding experience to be able to learn from senior lawyers and gain valuable legal skills and experience in the area of drug research and development. I am motivated by the privilege to be a small part of a big project to decrease the burden of malaria in endemic countries.
More about me:
I obtained a dual bachelor’s degree in law and English in China, and a Master of International Trade and Commercial Law from Durham University in the UK. I have past experience working for law firms, NGOs and organisations in China, the UK and US. Before joining MMV I was working for a UN organisation (the International Telecommunication Union) in Geneva. I am also a qualified lawyer in China.
Ask me about:
I am always happy to talk about legal matters, especially contracts. I am also a good reference point when it comes to commercial and legal practices relating to China and Chinese law.
