What I do at MMV:

I lead a small team of dedicated HR professionals and manage MMV’s HR activities, ensuring the departmental role as a solid business partner for the organization.

Why I work at MMV:

I strongly believe in MMV’s mission and I am proud to be part of an organization with such a noble cause. A 12-year old who visited our office once told me that “MMV does important work because it takes care of African children”. I agree with her and feel privileged to play a part in realizing a vision of a world in which innovative medicines will cure and protect vulnerable populations at risk of malaria.

No day at MMV is ever the same and there is never a dull moment. It’s great to have such a variety of tasks and challenges each day. But first and foremost, it is the people at MMV that make my workday enjoyable. It is truly a pleasure and unique opportunity to work with so many enthusiastic, ambitious, passionate, and inspiring people.

More about me:

I grew up in Germany and decided to move to Geneva in 2000 for a year to improve my French, but I ended up staying. I finished my degree in Literature at the University of Geneva and started my career working with CBI Consultants in Banking & Insurance and with Japan Tobacco International. I joined MMV in November 2009 and completed a certificate in International Human Resources Practices from Cornell University. Having lived the experience myself of relocating to a new country, one aspect of my job that I really like is helping new MMV staff to get settled in Geneva.
