What I do at MMV:
I lead the Clinical Team within the OZ439 project, to ensure that we have a well thought out clinical strategy, appropriate clinical study designs and quality clinical data in order to maximize the benefits of OZ439 combination treatments for malaria.
Why I work at MMV:
I am part of an organization which I believe makes, and will continue to make a real contribution to reducing the burden of malaria, resulting in saving of many lives. Many people would love to have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to world health and I feel privileged that I actually have the opportunity to do this through MMV.
More about me:
I have a broad background in drug discovery and drug development, having worked for more than 20 years in the drug development industry. My experience spans dug metabolism, clinical pharmacokinetics and early to late stage clinical development.
Ask me about:
The many hurdles of drug development and what it takes to get over them to have a drug approved by a stringent regulatory authority, and how to make a great Lemon Drizzle Cake (probably the best cake in the world).
