Elodie Chenu
Project Coordinator, Drug Discovery
What I do at MMV:
I provide scientific input, logistical and administrative support to the Drug Discovery team.
Why I work at MMV:
I studied biology with the hope of contributing to the development of cures for vulnerable populations. MMV's goal of reducing the burden of malaria in endemic countries is the challenge that motivated me. Working with such dedicated and experienced colleagues and partners is encouraging and represents a great opportunity. I am proud to be part of the MMV team.
More about me:
I have a Master of Biological Engineering from the School of Engineering: Polytech Marseille in France. Before joining MMV, I worked at Genkyotex and Addex Therapeutics, two biotech companies based in Geneva. Having worked in drug discovery for nearly 10 years, I gained experience in the development of in vitro assays as well as in high throughput screening.
Ask me about:
Cellular assays, in vitro pharmacology, compound management and library screening. Outside of work, I enjoy manual DIY activities and I also like to share experiences and tips for traveling, especially with children!
