What I do at MMV:
I support a wide range of communications activities at MMV. Most of the time you’ll find me writing content for the website, working on print publications, or finding new and exciting ways to make sure MMV’s science is disseminated as widely as possible. But there’s a whole lot more that happens in between.
Why I work at MMV:
I love being able to contribute my time and skills to working on one of the world’s biggest public health problems and help save lives. It’s also incredibly inspiring to work amongst others that are so committed to the same goal, with really diverse backgrounds and expertise to contribute. I am constantly learning and I love that.
More about me:
Before joining MMV, I worked as an editor in the medical publishing industry for several years, most recently at Nature Publishing Group in London, UK. In this post, I oversaw a small team and developed content for a medical journal for busy physicians. I hold a Science Combined honours BSc degree from the University of Liverpool, UK, focusing on Zoology and Psychology.
Ask me about:
Writing and editing content for a range of audiences, the optimal comms tool to meet your objective, communicating complex science to a general audience and where to find a good running route or yoga teacher in Geneva.
