Angelique Doy

Discovery Coordinator
Research & Development

What I do at MMV:

I provide support to the VP, Head of Drug Discovery. I also look after the administrative and logistical aspects of the Pathogen Box project.

Why I work at MMV:

Having lived in South Africa for many years, protecting communities from malaria and working towards the eradication of this disease is something that’s close to my heart. It’s great to be part of a non-profit organization that helps save lives. It’s very satisfying to put my knowledge and motivation into projects that are making a difference in people’s lives.

More about me:

I studied Anthropology and International Relations & Politics in South Africa. I then moved to Geneva where I worked in maritime inspection for several years. I specialized first in agri raw products and then in petrol products. My role was to provide logistical, as well as quantity and quality expertise to my clients.

Ask me about:

Lusitano horses, working equitation, photography and of course my beloved South Africa.
