What I do at MMV:

I lead global cross-functional project teams working in the exciting space between development candidate selection and clinical proof-of-concept. The teams comprise both internal and external members and have responsibility for all CMC, non-clinical and clinical activities.

Why I work at MMV:

MMV is a fantastic place to work, offering the opportunity for me to have an impact in addressing one of the largest unmet global medical needs. Being surrounded by colleagues who are such passionate and dedicated professionals is real a privilege as well as very stimulating and enjoyable.

More about me:

I joined MMV in 2017. Prior to that, I worked in a variety of roles for several pharmaceutical companies, both large and small, in the UK and in Switzerland. Starting in 1986 and moving away from bench-science to project leadership in 2003, I’ve seen, done and learnt a lot. Over the years, I have been very lucky to have been involved in the development of HIV vaccines, small-molecule antivirals, gene therapies, drug-device combinations and, small- and large-molecule treatments for neurodegenerative diseases and cancer.

Ask me about:

Drug development in general, project management and working with “virtual” teams. You can also ask me about home improvement and DIY.
